Now that the children are older, they enjoy playing board games. The Man plays to win. He says that the best way for the children to learn is to loose. He insists they learn from their mistakes. Me, I don't mind loosing--the kids are so happy when they win. Who knows the psychology behind that?

I have no philosophy on that, but the Man cracks me up. They might stop playing with him if the losing streak persists.
The daughter rises to challenge, but yes, it is hard on the boy. Playing me is more his style. With the second boy, there are no rules--anything goes.
